“ If you ever find yourself in the Coral Gables area, make sure to stop by Eating House for a bite. The fish dishes are top-notch, and the Captain Crunch is a must-try! I had such a great time there—the drinks were incredible. Be sure to tell them I sent you, haha! ”
“ We hit Eating House on Giralda for Happy Hour as we only wanted a bite. True to my form, we were the first in the house! We were warmly greeted and treated like stars by the gal behind the bar. So welcoming. I had my usual prosecco. My husband decided to stick with water. We shared two plates, the beef tartare and the crudo. Both were very good. I did share, however, that there was way too much oil on the crudo; it overpowered the delicate flavor of the fish. I did not share that the "herb salad" was more like a scattering of microgreens. The gal said she's pass it on to the back of house. ”
“ My first visit to Eating House was great. The food was very amazing, the service was great and the atmosphere was nice. My wife and I went for brunch and everything was fantastic. We had a Spritz & a Post-It Note to drink. They were both refreshing and delicious. Next we had the Loaded Tater Tots. I can say without question that they are the BEST tater tots I've ever had. The black truffle cream and bacon bits on top add amazing flavor to crispy, yet soft tots 10/10. I ordered the Cap'N Crunch Pancakes and they were amazing. What can I say, Cap'N Crunch on top of fluffy pancakes covered in condensed milk "syrup"....amazing! 10/10. My wife ordered the Chicken & Waffles. I had a bite and it was really good, but since I didn't eat much I'll refrain from rating that dish. We also ordered a the Thick-cut Bacon app as a side with our entrees and it tasted very good 9/10. Our server, Danny, was also great. He was very helpful and you could tell he likes the food based on the way he talked about it. Overall a fantastic meal and we will definitely be back to try their burgers. ”
“ Incredible place. Loved the food and the service was exceptional as well. We walked for a while looking at different menus from restaurants around the area but this one really stands out from the rest. We had the burrata, tartare and croquetas for appetizer, all delicious but the yellowfin tartare definitely takes the wining price for me. And for dinner we had the French dip burger and skirt steak which were also sublime! Great overall experience, our waiter was super attentive as well, unfortunately I forgot to ask for his name to be included in this review, but we will definitely be back! ”
“ Revamped and equally as delicious. Yelenny, our server, was superb, knowledgeable and patient. Food was delicious. Standouts were the burrata with guava and olive oil, unreal combo. The wagyu “tiradito” was citrusy and sensational. Lobster ravioli which was off the menu was not saucy and definitely not overpoweringly “lobster-ey” with the ravioli shell carrying the marriage, delicious. The finale was the dirt cup which was uniquely presented as well, a cup of dirt. Under the chocolate dirt you find a soft and light subtly salty and sweet vanilla ice cream with a caramel undertone. Would I come back? Yes. Only to do it all over again. ”
“ absolutely amazing experience!! our server was Dom and he was perfectly attentive and polite. we sat outside (which was hot) and he made sure to offer us fans to ensure we were comfortable. he made great recommendations off the menu, and overall made sure we had a great experience. the food itself was amazing and i was impressed with the portion sizes. i definitely recommend eating here and will be back! ”
“ From the host to the server, and even the management... Great service! Visited for brunch on a Saturday- food was yummy and came out promptly. Selected inside seating which wasn't too loud even though small space. The bar area looked nice and the bathrooms were clean. Ordered the smoked salmon plate and local burrata starter. Only 2 things I was turned off about. The parking seems hit or miss (and it was a "quiet" afternoon not busy) so parking in a garage down the street was my option. Second, I would recommend the food runners to ask before presenting/adding any sauce to a plate prior to doing so. The example being: the local burrata starter. I was nervous of the guava sauce and requested it to be on the side. Well, it does come on the side and the food runner "presents" it by pouring over the burrata. It wasn't a bad taste, however I would have poured less. Other than that- I would definitely visit again and try more on the menu! Outside seating seemed nice too! ”
“ I'll start by saying that the service was great, as well as the food. The captain brunch pancakes are a must in this place. The atmosphere is so nice, that makes you start longer. ”
